I hope you’re enjoying summer! It’s flying by here, between keeping up with my littles and working on Deadly Politics, the new Nichelle Clarke novel, but I sure am having fun being back in the Telegraph newsroom in the mornings and evenings, and having my children home during the day. Amid the writing, trips to the pool, and basketball practices, I’ve managed to squeeze in some summer reading, and my choices have been excellent so far: Jennifer Hillier’s Jar of Hearts is dark, haunting, and kept me up late turning pages. I also got an early peek (lucky me!) at Hank Phillipi Ryan’s new standalone psychological thriller, Trust Me (out in August), and it’s compulsively readable and impossible to figure out.
Speaking of summer reading, the fabulous folks at Severn River Publishing have the pretty new kindle version of Front Page Fatality for FREE download today, July 31st! If by chance you haven’t read Nichelle’s first adventure, or you just want a copy of the updated version with the fabulous new cover for your e-reader, go grab it. And of course, if you have a friend you think would enjoy the series, now is a great time to mention it and get them started. I’m heading back to my writing corner, wishing you a fantastic August full of great times and great books.
With much affection,
LynDee
*Update: Front Page Fatality made it all the way to #1 in the entire Kindle free rankings! Many thanks to all of my readers!
